“Saving Dror” is centered around a first-person testimony from Kibbutz Be’eri member Sagi Shifroni who endured the Oct. 7 attacks on Israel’s southern border. Shifroni’s Kibbutz Be’eri was at the epicenter of the October 7 attack, with over 100 of its members killed and 30 kidnapped by Hamas on that day. Shifroni, whose house was directly targeted by terrorists, managed to escape together with his daughter to another family member’s house, which was also targeted later on that day.

All revenues generated from the film will be donated to the Yad B’Yad Be’eri Families program, which is working to secure permanent housing for those displaced from the kibbutz as a result of the October 7th attacks.
