My Mexican Shivah
Set in Polanco (a Jewish quarter of Mexico City), family and friends sit shivah for their beloved patriarch Moishe, forcing them to confront each other - including a Catholic ex-lover, an Orthodox ex-convict grandson and a troupe of mariachi musicians. MY MEXICAN SHIVAH is a hilarious comedy about how the death of a man results in a celebration of his life.
