New York. How about you?

It appears there's an episode missing from Shababnikim/The New Black - episode 11 titled "A man is lost"
On ChaiFlicks episode 12 "First Times" is labeled as episode 11, but at 10:41 after the credits when the episode number and title comes up you see it's episode 12 (and every subsequent episode is labeled one back, e.g. the true episode 13 is labeled as episode 12 on the site, episode 14 is shown as episode 13, etc).
In the episode recap at the beginning it shows a scene where Lasri is kicking down a fence/trellis with the secular yeshiva students that wasn't in any prior episode so it's probably a scene from the missing 11th episode. Also Laser apparently had a major plot point happen to his character in the 11th episode that's referenced. Can we get the 11th episode please?
Hello,
good catch! We've actually had a few subscriber mail in question about this "missing" episode.
The truth is that indeed there was an extra episode added to the series in Israel. It was a tribute episode to Israeli artist Shlomo Artzi — think kosher Bruce Springsteen. As such, it was not part of the season's narrative arc and was not cleared for international broadcast due to musical licensing issues.
You would be happy to hear that season 3 is in production, and of course, we aim to have it for you on ChaiFlicks as soon as it would be possible.
Thanks for tuning in!

Thank you for the fast response and background information on the episode, much appreciated.
On the topic of music rights...I've been curious how much of the music in the show is as-is from the original Israeli broadcast and if any are changed due to licensing? The 2nd episode ended with what sounded like a K-Pop song playing over the credits and throughout the show there's been a mix of Western-sounding music, though this very much fits in with the tone of the show so I wouldn't be surprised if nothing was changed but knowing clearance issues often cause songs to change in shows that travel internationally it's been a small point of curiosity on my end how much/if any songs changed in Shababnikim
Another great observation! Here's a quick look behind the scenes:
A lot of the soundtrack was composed specifically for the show - including the groovy theme song! Season 1 had mostly that original music, so the international version is more or less a copy of the Israeli version.
Season 2 - with a higher budget due to season 1's success - did use more licensed material. So, director Eliran Malka put himself to the task! He went through all of season 2 and replaced some music where needed. So season 2 still has a similar soundtrack, with some director's replacements throughout.
Hi new topic regarding usability: when I close my browser (MacOS, Firefox or Chrome), later I login to chaiflicks. Videos I've watched are not noted. I have to (gasp!) remember where I left off. I'm looking for a watch history on my account. Is this the platform I'm on or cookie settings? Thank you in advance.
Hi Stephen - there should be a 'continue watching' menu available to you directly on the homepage when you log back in. It should actually be the first row, under the big features carousel.
I'm not sure why that's not showing up on your end. My email is copied below - please send me your address so I can get our tech team to dig into it.
Thanks,

Hi Alice -
1) "Fire Dance" is the new series we just launched this week
2) ChaiFlicks is not available as an Amazon Prime video channel at this point. We are available on Amazon devices, as well as your web browser and a number of other streaming devices.

I am a new subscriber and the service spontaneously stopped working, and now says that I am a customer through Amazon. I never gave my Amazon account info, and I paid directly on the web via credit card.
I am kind of upset that there is no fast customer service solution and that your service just stops working all of a sudden.
Pretty lame, ChaiFlicks.
Hi Duggan - of course there is no reason for that to be happening. I've reached out over email, but adding my address here just in case so you can reach back out if needed as well.
We're sure our team can help you resolve this so you can continue to enjoy ChaiFlicks.
Thanks,
