Hanukkah is usually celebrated as a time of joy, a festival of light and presents in the darkest of winter. However, when we look at the history of Hanukkah there is a lot more to celebrate during this holiday than it seems at first glance. Ultimately, Hanukkah is a celebration of the fact that despite living amongst different cultures and in different places, we are still Jews!
